We have several users printing the same Word doc, occasionally i get called to them because a message has come up saying "printer not ready" (or similar - i cant remember the exact text and what do you know it hasn't happened today). when i click on "ok" another box comes up with "select default printer" and lists the two printers available to the PCs. The main office printer is one of these but is globally set for each machine and set in the Doc properties, yet still the message box appears. I select the main printer and continue as normal but this is worrying. I wouldn't care if the users could be trusted to make these selections themselves but i have to get up and sort them out every-time it happens.
