Whilst trying to change default tool prefs, specifically box colour or runaround on text box or picture box, QXP crashes. Any other preference changes apply no problem.

Other than that QXP is functioning perfectly fine. Just a pain that I can't change default preferences.

This is happening on every install on the network. Have tried removing prefs and starting again, no joy.

All help appreciated.

Problem sovled!

For any of you who have or get the same problem.

Delete the "Quark" folder which is located at the following location :
Mac HD > Users > 'the user who is logged in' > Library > Preferences > Quark
After this delete "Jaws" folder which is available inside QuarkXPress 6.0 application folder.

Now navigate to the QuarkXPress folder and select "FOR SYSTEM" folder. Under this folder you will be able to see a file named "QuarkXPress components", please run this file by double clicking on it. Then it would ask you the passphrase, then you have to enter the password of your login.

Only problem is, you have to reset all your appliction defaults, small problem!
