Default Pool 1

According to the manual: "Select the Default pool from the Destination screen and the media pooling criteria are set automatically". What is the automatic pooling criteria and what would it be set to? Is there a save set and retention set? What can or cannot be changed?

The manual gives little info on this. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

The default pool is defined from the type of backup set you specify. The Manager program will tell you what that consists of after you start and you can change it if needed. The default is "default", but depending on what you choose in the "Method" tab (Custom, Archive, Rotation or Autopilot) that will give you the retention set.
