Default Password Problems - Please help.

I'm creating a database for a client and by mistake i set the default password preference to a user with NO rights.
Whenever i open the file it automatically uses the password with no rights! I have other passwords set up for the developer and manager, but it never gives me a chance to use them. How do i open the program as a different user?

On a Mac, I do believe you hold the SHIFT key down while opening the DB file. It might be the Ctrl key or the Apple key. Same for the PC side (except obviously not the Apple key)

This will prompt for the password, and therefore, the associated rights.

Actually what I do is I leave a user with no right and do an other file in FMP, in that file I put the password in...
ex: You do only an empty FMP table with a password (12345678) then when you open the file it will ask you to write down the new password. After in that same file put a buton with a scritp that opens the file you want to open with the administration password.

I use that technique at the compagny I work for. They can open the program, but when I need to do modification I just open my FMP File, enter the password and then click on the button.
