I cannot get my CDraw (v 11) to display a default Colour Palette when opening any CDR file.

So every time I open a file, I have to go to Window | Colour Palette and then choose one from there.

I have checked all the options, and I have 'Saved Settings' with a Palette open, but I cannot ever get the program to load a Palette by default.

Any ideas?

gorgeo,

Holding down F8 while starting CorelDraw will reset your workspace to the default, which may fix your problem.

Note that any customisation you have done (key shortcuts etc) will be lost.

Hope that helps.

Just as an addition to cobrien11, you can save/export your workspace and reload it after a f8 restart.

Excellent! Very helpful advice. F8 worked fine, and I could then customise the workspace to the way I wanted. Thanks.
