I'm having problems distributing packages. (I have inherited this system and didn't set it up). I have found in the locationservices.log file on the test client
"Retrieved local management point from AD: (name of server)" and the name of the server is one that no longer exists. The settings for the Management Point are set correctly in the confirguration of SMS, as the SMS server is the MP. I have searched AD and found nothing on this server and have no idea where it is pulling this information. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look and to get rid of this? Thanks!

Its probably pullin it from the SMS package itself on the server. You'll need to go in there and remove it manually from the DP section of the SMS package
