Can anyone tell me if there is a registry edit to change the default location that attachents are saved. Some users want the save as box to open to a specific location

The registry key will be found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

From there you will be able to see the different types of values you can set the default save path.

I did not mention but this is on win2k workstation and there does not appear to be a setting for this in that location

It is the value labeled PERSONAL that Outlook uses to control where attachments are saved. Sorry, I should have been more specific. joegz
