Hi All,
I am having some issues today pinging my default gateway on the Nortel CS1000
I have a route built and active:
0.0.0.0 to 137.135.128.1
I am unable to ping this IP address.
All of this was working properly.
We had a hub go out and moved the connections to a switch.
I am not sure if there is anything that I need to inform IT to allow this traffic.
Weird thing is I am unable to ping the default gateway from my PBX in LD 117.
Ping 137.135.128.1
Fail
Since I can't ping the default gateway , obviously I cannot ping anything outside of that network from the PBX

Any ideas where I should be looking?

Thank you,
CommoGuy101

Hub is layer 1 device
Switch is layer 2 device- It might be an an idea to double check the network group has set up the vlan associated with the elan correctly (both UTP and fibre ports)

Only a thought

They obviously don't have something set up correctly on the switch or they may not even be allowing "ping", you can deny that. Keep in mind not only does ping have to know it's path there it also has to know it's path back. A Trace Route should tell you where it's failing.
