Default Gateway Changes NT4 Server

Hi All,

Why when changing the default gateway on NT4 server do you have to re-boot, making the same changes on NT4 you don't have to re-boot, is there any reason for this ?? Is there anyway around NT4 server re-booting after making the changes and applying them ??

Any help much appriciated.
