Default font in Outlook won't change

Whenever I start a new message in Outlook, my font defaults to strikethrough and in bold. The default is not set to strikethrough or bold and I use Word to edit my messages, but the default in Word is not set to this either. I have tried a detect and repair and replacing the normal.dot and email.dot with no luck.

Any ideas?

It is possibly a problem with your autosignature. Depending on version, try tools options and look for autosignature. Empty this.
