Hi,

I have server 2003 setup using the Fileserver role. I created a folder, and shared it for everyone on the network.

The only options I saw were for either everyone to have read/write access, or not to..

Is it possible to set it up, so that the creator of a file would have read/write acceess, and everyone else would have only read access?

Thanks
David

Yes it's possible but you have modifiy NTFS rights for this folder.
Choice properities of folder, than security tab and give proper rights for Creator_owner and for everyone

And then would any files created under that folder, automatically receive those same permissions? Or would it change have to be made individually?

Thanks
David
