Default e-mail editor? 1

We have a user that previously used Lotus Notes, he has moved over to Outlook and this is set as his default mail editor in IE. Strangely when browsing and clicking on a hotlink, Lotus fires up.

Anybody know what we are missing?

This isn't a direct way, but try this:

Start, Run, "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE" /REG, OK

Make sure you use the quotes as shown. Now, go back to your IE internet options and change the default program to Outlook.

Excellent, problem solved. My user has come back to me and said: The command didn't change the default program in outlook to OE.
I hit another hot link and it fired up Lotus again.
Got smart, changed the default program to OE manually and then changed it back to Outlook.
Whalla, job is done, problem is solved.
