Default Drill map question

Microstrategy version 7.2.3. I have set a default drill map under project configuration/drilling. Yet, if I build a new report, I still need to associate it to a drill map because no drill map is associated by default. In version 7.2.0 that was done by default. Any ideas why?

if you don't make the explicit drill map, the software should still pick up your default project setting. Otherwise it's a bug, call their tech support...
