I'm trying to figure how are system administrator is applying the default domain policy to remote users. When I run a gpresult, I'm seeing it applied during login, but I have no type of internet connection?

Group policies are cached so they can be applied even when the machine isn't connected to the domain.

Sorry that's not strictly true certain elements are cached. Gpresult will continue to list the last policies applied and when they were applied. What does the time stamp say for the last time the DDP was applied?
