Hi All,

I have added a new citrix server to our farm and everything works properly except when you go to open an application the credentials supplied do not use the domain specified in the config. Basically it passes the username properly and the password but in the domain field the server is defaulting to the local server and not the domain. If you change the domain it works correctly. I have found a couple registry changes (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\defaultdomainname) to fix the problem but the server keeps reverting back to use the local machine. Is there any way to make this a permanent change? I am sure this more of a windows problem than Citrix but I figured a citrix person might have seen/dealt with this before.

teqmod,
This one is pretty simple.
Go to the console of the server (you can do this with "remote desktops" if using win2k3 server) and log in with a A/D user account to the domain.
Then log out of the server.
This will make the A/D domain the default domain instead of the local machine domain.

I learned this the hardway as well...lol

Hope that helps.
