Default Document Properties

Is there a way to set default properties for each new document created in a domino user nsf? We would like to set the default behavior of 'Who can read this document' to only the user of the DB. It's prohibitive to perform this on each document and I can't find any settings through the client GUI that allow application to all documents.

The answer is yes : with the Notes Designer client and bit of knowledge about programming in Notes.

You do not need much knowledge, but on the other hand, creating access restrictions to documents can very easily go wrong.

I strongly suggest that you read the FAQ on Reader and Author fields before implementing such functionality.
