Default DB2 password

Here is a problem that my colleague is facing

"I’ve created a local DB2 database and would like to create the schema w/ the model created in RDA but am having issues w/ users and passwords. I’m able to create and grant privileges to new users in Control center but don’t know what the default password is nor was prompted for it. I could implicitly connect to the local db but am unable to do what I need to w/out the password "

Any tips regarding the same would be great

Hi there,

as far as I know you're being prompted for all necessary passwords during the installation process of DB2 software on your machine ...

By default, DB2 uses Operating System security features for authentication ...

Use the operating system facilities to reset the password
