Hi,

We have Sharepoint Server 2003 installed here and have
created a number of sites underneath the main portal.

The problem is that all new sites are created with the
date format being American (i.e. MM/DD/YYYY).

We want this default to be British (i.e. DD/MM/YYYY).

We have tried changing to locale for the main portal and
set that to british but still new sites are being created
with American Format.

The date on the Server is British and so is it on SQL Server.

So, does anyone know how to change this so that new
sites will be created with the British Date Format.

Thanx,

Hello,

have you checked in the central administration pages so that the regional settings are correct there?

Thomas

Hi,

No I have not looked in central administration as I did not know there was option for regional settings there. I did however set it on the main portal site.

I will try and find the option on the central administration pages. Any quick idea where the option is on central administration.

Thanx,

Adeel

Hi,

sorry it was not regional settings there it was just the Time Zone settings you had in central administration.

Regards,
Thomas
