default button assignment

Is there a way to change the default feature assignments to buttons on digital sets on a BCM400 R4. Whenever I add a set it picks up it's default programming and then I have to do a copy/paste to assign the features I actually want.Can I change it to a default profile that I create thereby bypassing the copy/paste step?

One of the cool features of the old 3.x BCM's was the ability to build templates. I hear that is coming back in the next release.
For now, were stuck with copy/paste.

You can copy to a range of telephones. Just program 1 the way you want it, then copy that phone to all system phones. Depending on what type of phones you are using, you may need to change the phone type before copying or the button programming will not copy. A hint though. This is done much faster using telephone set programming as oppposed to element manager.
