I have transitioned from 2000 server to 2008 server. I
have easy print enabled and the remote printers are all redirecting nicely.
The problem is that the redirected printers do not have the advanced properties that we want (i.e. those on the local machine) and the advanced properties of the redirected printers are greyed out.
I have been successfull in getting the advanced properties to un-grey following these directions:
blogs.msdn.com/rds/archive/2007/10/05/introducing-terminal-services-easy-print-part-3.aspx
but these changes do not persist at the next logon and redirection of the printer.
I am wondering if there is some way to tell the easy print driver, RDP or whatever it is that assignes these settings to make the redirected printer setting the same as the remote users local settings.
