Hi All,

We have taken over a site and i have never worked with Nortel and Bay before, does anyone know the default passwords for Nortel routers and switches??? Cisco, is cisco, then cisco.

Thanks,

Killian

Cheers a great start!!

Thanks,

Killian

What type of switch?...BayStack or Passport??

For BayStack the default Read/Write password is: secure
The default for Read Only is: user

For routers there are two logon levels, Read/Write and Read Only. They have no default password for either logon. The logon for R/W is: Manager
The logon for R/O is: User
After that you have to know what the password is. There is a way to default the password on most Nortel routers, but it varies depending on the model.
