gUYS THE PANASONIC DECTS ARE MUCH CONFUSING , kxtda 0158 and ka 272 do they work together, i need extra coverage for two floors. how does it assign extension numbers if its connected to a digital port extension. whats the major difference in using dect card and cell station instead.

ka 272 is that the proper model number? PS's are assigned and registered in extension settings in maint console or through
the programing phone ! there are 2 ways to drive a cell station either with a cell station card or a digital port.

OK a KXA 272 is a booster unit for euro dect not sure if it is compatible with tda range but doubtful!

the answer to your question is yes and no.

1. the 0158 is a 8 chanell cell station and requires 4 digital ports to give it the 8 chanels the 272 is a 2 chanel booster.
they can be used together but only 2 handsets can be active through the booster at any one time

the 0158 is compatable with version 4 KXTDA and above.
you can dasiy chain repeters if required
