Hi people,
Did anyone install DECT sync ring using RS422 interface? This possibillity exists, according to ALEX.
I have a remote LIM conected over fiber optic to group switch. In remote LIM there is ELU31 and some base stations. Everything works fine, except DECT handover is not working between that LIM and the rest of the system.
There is no any copper between the two locations, so I cannot make a proper sync ring.
There is some unused fiber between two locations, so if I find an adequate RS422-to-fiber convertor, I could solve the problem.
Another possibillity could be using two analog extensions (one from remote LIM, and one from central location) and making some hot-line between them. Each extension should have one modem and one RS232-to-RS422 convertor.
Any suggestions?
