Hi
I'm having a lot of problems with DECT R4 quality of speech and occasional one way tx issues.
I have one system in site A which has all of the dect users and base stations registered to it. Another system is in site B across the road and the link between the 2 is via layer 3 cisco switches. The connections into the switches from each IPO are Lan 1 ports on each. Also connected via a fibre and again through the switches are another 2 buildings. Therefore I have 4 subnets and 2 IPO's and there is a default route in each IPO of 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 via the relevant gateway.
There is apparently QOS on all of the switches so voice traffic is tagged with the DSCP of 46.
I'm not sure if the link between the 2 IPOS's would be tagged, as the documentation states the IPO Lan interfaces aren't tagged but the WAN interfaces are. Either LAN port can behave as a WAN though I think or should the connection from each IPO be using the WAN/LAN 2 port.
I am also seeing jitter and packet loss/delay on fixed IP phones although this is far less noticeable I think than a dect would be. On that basis not sure if the QOS is correct.
Any advise or pointers would be much appreciated
