Ok, here's the user guide:

It says "The Transfer option is applicable only to Communication Manager" on page 41

Is this true? I'm incredulous! You can't transfer a call using a DECT phone on the IP Office?

That user guide is dated March 2013.
Is there a more recent/updated guide.
Transfer may work on current/newer releases?

even the current DECT install guide doesn't mention transfer as an option (starting on page 110)

The 3725 user guide from 2016 has the same note about transfer functionality only applying to CM

Didn't used it for a longer time...

Press R to hold the call, dial the other users extension, announce the caller and hang up.

IP Office certificate check
CLI based call blocking
SCN fallback over PSTN

The R is a soft key. I have 6 of the 3720s on my IPO R9.1 at home and transfer works just fine.

Edit: I just checked the user guide and it doesn't operate like that. The process derfloh said is the correct way to transfer on IPO.
