DECT on BCM 3.6 1

Hi there... i use a BCM 3.6 with DECT... Now one Handset C4050 is faulty and i have to replace... How can i subscribe the new handset? i tried to unsubscribe the old one and it works fine.... but the DECT still say that mobile is subscribed? So anybody know how i unsubscribe it to the DECT-System so i can switch the faulty C4050 w/out running the DECT Wizard again?

log into the dect system using the maintenance console. go to the telephony settings/wireless settings and choose "mobiles". delete the DN there and recreate it.
You should now be able to resubscribe it.

thx so far stefan.... i could delete the "mobile" with the extension... but how can i add a new one? i found the "add mobile" thing but i dont know about the parameters i have to set there...

DIRECTORY NUMBER --> new dn that i want to subscribe

WIRELESS TYPE --> DECT

REFERENCE CELL --> Cell1? is that correct?

Directory of Emergeny Extensions --> ??? dunno what to fill in there....

than i just have to go on "next" and thats it?


by the way... the patches did great work ;O)

the only thing you need to enter here is the DN.
Wireless type should be DECT and cell can be left empty.
Directory of Em. Ext. can also be left empty.

hi stefan again,

it worked fine and i could subscribe the mobile... but i cant do external calls from this phone now.. only internal calls in both directions and receiving ext calls... but no outdial possible ?!?

any hints?

is the dn still assigned to the line pool? any restrictions that might apply?

nope must be in the DECT programming...didnt changed anything in BCM ...worked fine b4 with the old one ( this had just voice/microphone problems ) i did made some calls 5 minutes b4 i changed the C4050... (
