Hey,

i kinda destroyed a customers DECT Antenna.

I needed to flash newer 11.1.x firmware with stupid, hardest passwd policy possilbe.

I pasted a passwd longer than 15 characters, at this point i didnt knew whats wrong. Now i know that there is the limit at 15 characters, wich is a missing check feature in software. Everything above it will be cut. I dont have the pasted passwd because i thought there was something wrong with the password.

My main issue: the reset button is not working - not even restart is possible. is the button bridgeable? i tried with wire, unfortunately so far without success.

Are there still chances for the antenna or is it a case of electronic waste? In the current market situation, that's just 1200 € damage....

Sure you privided the correct factory default reset? If yes the IPBS should be 192.168.0.1/24

Are you sure you followed the proper procedure for defaulting the BS? You have to press the reset button, then let it go for a bit then press it once quickly a second time. I can't remember the specific procedure off the top of my head but it is documented and I know for certain it involves two separate presses of the reset button.

Press the button and hold it in until the light flashes to fast blinking blue for a while, then disappears, then turns yellow. Once it turns yellow, release the button and when the light turns red, press it again and release. The v2's sometimes took a few tries to default, but would then return to the 192.168.0.1 IP Address. As an FYI, factory defaulting doesn't always save these base stations - sometimes they're just bricked.
