DECT Handsets

We have installed a KXTDA 30 with a DECT unit and phones installed, the system has 4 lines installed, however when the customer uses a DECT phone to place a call on hold,if it holds on line 4 they cannot retrieve back, in the DECT phone settings it only has 3 lines listed, is there anyway to increase this, I know the bottom right button on the phone can retrieve it back but this does not always work!

you cant get more lines on the dect handset

however when a call is recieved at a dect handset instead of pressing hold use *50
to take the call back at the dect handset again type *50

if a call is placed on hold on a system phone .lets say line 4 and you want to get it on the dect handset
type *53 004
the 004= the line the call is held on

the most common use of hold in your case would be not to hold the call but to Park the call

while talking to a person on the dect
press transfere ( R )
type *52
enter a park Zone 01 to 09
call is parked

to take it back from any handset including dect

off hook
dial *52 + ( park Zone )ie 02
