Hello,

I have set twinning at a customer.
Because of de feature to turn the twinning on or off, I have used the External Twinning option to twin a Dect handset to a 1608 phone.

Transfering a call with announcement is working fine but without is disconnecting the second call.

So whats happinging.
A call is beïng presented to the extention and answered on the twinned handset.
They press the R for transfer and dial a second number, before that one is being answered they press the dissconnect button on the dect handset to transfer the call.
But the call isn't being tranfered but the second extention stop ringing and the first call is still on hold.

When the call is being transfered with announcement with the same procedure it works fine.

Ik hope I made clear what the problem is.
Does someone knows how to tranfer a call like this?
Do I need a code or something?

Thank you.

Grt.
Edwin

External Twinning is not intended to be used with DECT phones.

Why aren't you using normal twinning? You are basically deliberately breaking it by doing it the wrong way :)
