Hi

Re : Dect 4 - Ip Office 9.0

Iam having problems connecting to the master base station via chrome/internet explorer and firefox. I have always had issues connecting but pretty sure firefox always let me in and gave me the proceed to unsafe site option , but for some reason Iam not getting this option anymore.

Error - This site cant provide a secure connection - 10.x.x.x uses an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Dect phones are working ok and I can ping the master base station ok. I have downloaded some older versions of firefox and internet explorer , Iam heading back to site later in the week. Just wondered if anyone else has had the same issue and if it might be something else thats causing it apart from the browser ver. Any advice appreciated.

cheers

M

Think you can access it with Firefos if you go to about:config and set security.tls.version.min to 0.

But you really need to upgrade your bases so they get an updated certificate and don't show the error.

Hi

Thanks for the reply , appreciated :)

For chrome do this:
- Copy this to your address bar in chrome: chrome://flags
- Find a setting named "Minimum SSL/TLS version supported."
- Choose SSLv3
- Click on "Relaunch now" button
- Go back to the HTTPS page that was giving you ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH error
- You will be redirected to a "Your connection is not private" page. If you do not worry about this security issue click on the "Advanced" link.
- Click on "Proceed to <your https page> (unsafe)".

For Firefox do this:
1 Open Firefox and type "about:config" and it will ask you accept the risk so accept it and proceed further.
2 Now it will display with certain options and type "security.tls" in the Search option and again you will be displayed with 7 options and select the first option that is "security.tls_insecure_fallback_hosts"
3 Double click on above option "security.tls_insecure_fallback_hosts" and enter the IP Office IP and click on 'OK'.
4 After all the steps restart the browser of preference and try accessing the IP Office

OR

Use Internet Explorer
