after I have encrypted a stor proc, how can I know the definition of it? I only want to prevent others to know the definition, but sometimes I've to refer to the definition myself, how can I decrypt it if I have totally forgotten the definition? Thanks... Please visit my WebCam!!

According to BOL,

"Once encrypted, the definition of the stored procedure cannot be decrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone, including the owner of the stored procedure or the system administrator."

So you should make sure to store the source code in a secure location somewhere.
