I have 2 3300 MXe's (running 9.0) that have IP networking setup between them. OPS man was originally installed but now has multiple errors one being that resiliency doesnt work. We want to turn off the OPS man sync so we can go back to adding users on the controllers rather than using OPS man. Is there an easy way to do this? I know on the 3300 side we will delete OPS from the network element but im not so sure what to do on the OPS side to turn it off. Once we have OPS out of the picture we will proceed with setting up sds.

I would say, upgrade your controllers to MCD4.2 and just turn of the pc with ops.
You dont need ops anymore to activate resiliency

To stop the synch just go into the schedule and delete it. If you want to remove it completely from ops you will have to remove anything related to teh controller including the telephone directory. If you have a lot of users on that Pbx it can take a lot of time and effort.

As suggested you only need to remove any scheduling access to the 3300's that OpsMan has to deactivate it. It can site there just fine with all the cluster data etc in it without effecting the systems.

Of note even though you can add users without Opsman I think I would fix it first going forward. The chances of someone screwing up when adding users is greater without out it and if you move forward to MCD 4.1 and higher with SDS you will have a @#$# load of cleanup that will have to be done to get SDS to work.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.
