Decodes

I've started a new section on my website called Decodes, where I simply take screen shots from various protocol analyzers decoding the same packet to illustrate that not all analyzers decode the same way.

I'm also going to add some background info about the protocol for educational purposes

If anyone has a protocol (hopefully, just one packet) feel free to pass it on. I'll be sure to give you full credit.

Something simple, but helpful.. I hope.

Hi

i was visiting your website and looking at the decode of
Ethernet IP IndustrialEtherNet/IP. I wanted to find out what my Sniffer does with this capture file but the file does not match the screenshots of your according powerpoint notes.

What version of Sniffer Portable do you have?

Just checked again and looks the same to me and I have the same version as you do.. What do you exactly see, or whats different?

Hi Fortunat,

i think there is a missunderstanding.

When i open your file 'eip ope.enc' i only see 11 Frames which do not match at all with your screenshot's in the powerpoint 'eip.ppt'
