Hello
The situation is as following: (see also thread 'VERY URGENT!! Decimal sign in sql-server)
Moved our sql server from an old nt machine (dutch) to a new windows 2000 machine (english).
Our databases were moved by exporting the data from the old to the new server. It seemed to have been exporting ok...
The new server uses '.' as decimal symbol, as where the old server used ','.
The regional settings on the new server are set to ',' for the decimal sign. All clients who have to connect to our server are nt machines (dutch) with the ',' as decimal sign in regional settings.
I already tried to use 'rebuiltm' on a test database (same environment: w2000 english) and choose for the 'Central European' Character set but it didn't change anything...
Is there anything that can be done?
I'm getting desperate here... This has to be solved by tonight...
