Hi, my users have to enter a paragraph reference into an active server page that then goes to an ms access database. Anyway the paragraph ref. in the database can be any numeric value

Problem is when my users enter four point one they get 4.1 in the rpt, but then four point one zero comes out on the report as 4.1?? without the zero?

Am i being thick? I can't see how to get round this!

Cheers

Storing a numeric value in an Access database will not preserve trailing zeros to the left of the decimal. If you must preserve these zeros, you might consider storing as text.
