Our internet was down and the network guy had to make some changes, so all our citrix users were locked out for a bit. When they went back into Great Plains, they noticed that their screens are showing 4 decimal places on all their documents (in particular SOP invoices) and the invoice also printed 4 decimal places.

Nothing was changed to the Great Plains install. This is one citrix machine.

Any ideas? So far our vendor hasn't helped.

Thanks!

check your regional settings in control panel. Check the currency panel and see how many places after the decimal are there.

and they wonder why they call it Great Pains!

We also noticed this is happening on SQL server. I checked the regional settings and it is 2 decimal places.

Also while in Great Plains on the server, I noticed it is running GP7.50g66. All the workstations are running GP7.50g53 including terminal server.

I had tried installing the servicepack a few weeks ago and ran into an error in utilities (BCP error). This was in the first ten minutes of install so I didn't have to do any restoring. But after the BCP utility was repaired, finally after a couple of weeks (slow vendor) NOW we notice maybe the servicepack was installed. Or was it? maybe only partly?

Thanks!

hard to tell, I would begin by copying the contents of a "good" machine's GP directory to the server's GP directory (of course back up what you have there already)

Launch GP and give that a go to see what happens.

Sherlock Holmes in me would say... VAR logged into citrix, updated server and citrix installation and didn't tell anyone.

If that's the case, spank them and hold back payment for your time in troubleshooting (in fact, hold back payment for my time too and send me a check ;) )

Funny you should say that. Our vendor was given access to our server last week to help fix a server naming issue we were having. hmmmm

Anyway we had to restore from last Thursday's backups and re-enter a day and a half of transactions. Apparently not alot of people were working too hard on Friday as there didn't seem to be alot to re-enter!

Thanks!
