Hello,

I seem to have a problem with Debian seeing my cd rom. I have Debian Woody installed on an old Pentium 180 successfully. But the install for some reason didn't install drivers for my CD-Rom from what I can tell. Is there a way to re-install the drivers? I fairly new to linux and need direction in getting the system to see my CD-Rom. Like I said, it is an older drive and I foresee no problems with drivers being available from the Debian side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you create a mount-point like

Code:
mkdir /mnt/cd
and then mount tried to mount:

Code:
mount /dev/hdc /mnt/cd -t iso9660

If it is connected to the second contoller as first drive, it will be hdc, as second drive hdd, as second drive on the first controller hdb - I guess you see the logic.
