Debian Kernel panic

Hi friends,

I am trying to install Debian with 2.4.4 kernel. I have a dell Power edge 1750 with LSI ultra 320 SCSI controller(53c1030). I tried to install the drivers for that controller from ftp.lsil.com/pub/linux-megaraid/drivers. I tried all the driver there. But i can't get the patch for installing those driver.So i could not install it properly. and due to that i m getting kernel panic.
Can any body tell me how to patch the kernel 2.4.4 source with those megaraid(1.18f atleast) drivers.
