Hi

I just tested these answers in the thread965-1796483 but all were about limiting call duration for calls on subscriber number and I need to limit calls on some of ISDN CO analog trunks and the calls on PRI-E1 and the others of analog trunks shouldn't be limited (because E1 trunk calls are free of charge and the other CO trunks are for managers).

I know how to limit call duration in TDCSU by use of CALLTIM parameter but there is no such parameter in TACSU.

Best Regards
Hamid

Thank you dear Thepfy

I couldnt find parameter called s12, for example I need to set some of analog trunks as 6 minute call duration what is the rest of ptime command?
CHANGE-PTIME:TYPE=REST,TBLK=16,BTYPE=PARA;

The timer block consists of L long S short and P para timers. You want to display the whole timer block not just para.

Timer parameters change depending on the device type. S12 for one type of trunk could mean something completely different for another type of trunk.

Edoku for AMO descriptions PTIME describes the values/parameters for different trunk types.

Dear Moriendi and thepfy

Thank you for responses, I found that tblk 119 is for TMANI card and in amo description document section 154.6.6 Appendix 2, Part 6: Initblocks 1010 till 115, 119 till 123 :

S13
0
conversation time limit
(0- 255)
0: no limit
1 - 255: conversation time (multiple of 30 sec.)
after the timer expired the conversation will be
automatically disconnected.

but I insert :
COPY-PTIME:INIBLOCK=119,TBLK=15;
CHANGE-PTIME:TYPE=REST,TBLK=15,BTYPE=SHORT,S10=30,S13=1;
CHANGE-TACSU:pEN=1-5-25-7,DEVTYPE=TC,CIRCIDX=15;

but call doesn't drop in 30 seconds what should I do?
and the other question is how to inform the subscriber that the call will drop after some seconds?

Best Regards
Hamid

If iniblock 119 is correct for your trunk config, I would expect it to work.

Did you make a res-bssu or res-dssu after you changed the circidx for TACSU? I would definitely do that to be sure the timers had loaded.

Your S10 seems a little high to me, 30 seconds. In my country that is usually just a few seconds. Plus, by setting a guard time of 30 seconds and a release time of 30 seconds, you may have inadvertently created a race condition, it is not usually helpful to have two timers expiring at the same time, I would definitely lower S10.

I see also in my V8 Edoku, S12 is also listed as a conversation time limit. It could be an error in documentation to show the same thing for S12 and S13 but I would try it.

In Edoku System Components, TMANI, the mandatory PTIME values for each country region are given, you should make sure those are also correct for your country.

Dear Moriendi

Thank you for fast response, I checked in document and these commands was necessary to configure the board as 16KHz and drop the call after 6 minutes but it does not send any voice alarm about call drop before:

COPY-PTIME:INIBLOCK=119,TBLK=16;
CHANGE-PTIME:TYPE=REST,TBLK=16,BTYPE=SHORT,S10=4,S12=12;
CHANGE-PTIME:TYPE=REST,TBLK=16,BTYPE=PARA,P12=70;

Great news that your disconnect is working, but here is the bad news. There is no function to provide an announcement when this happens.
