Hi,
This would be correct.
There is no YaST GUI anymore, you can get into YaST but not via a front end.
The system has to be setup with IP addressing using the ComWin tool called XML Config File Generator.
This tool will setup all the relevant IP addressing for the system.
After that you do not normally need to change anything on YaST.
You then logon to the HiPath

dear,

i dont clear with xml config file generator.

i have log in with comwin tool, and then i look after what do you mention. but i can't found. can you guide step by step to solve the problem GUI..?

There is a tool called XML File Generator in the Folder of Comwin on your computer.

You need to copy the output of that file to the startup disk before you startup the HiPath

If you prefer you could just type
yast
at that prompt and get into the old dos type menu to setup the IP addressing however the recommended way is to use the XML file generator before loading the HiPath.
NTP setup is required as well for the clock

sorry .. idont find that menu. there is MML in the comwin menu.

i think XML is script file. that right..?

in attachment have file comwin menu in the mycomputer.

Click on the START Menu on Windows
Go to All Programs
Click on HiPath 4000 Expert Access
Click on Tools
Click on XML Config File Generator

Alternatively:
Go to the default location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\HiPath 4000 Expert Access\Apps\genXML

If you have not setup a HiPath 4000 V6/V7 before you are in deep water now.
Are there any courses available where you are ?
