Dear Experts,

I understand that AIX will prompt the below message when the password expires. However, the message displyed rapidly and it's difficult for users to read it. For your info, in each user profile (.profile) I created a script that is to call the application login.Therefore, I need some assistance for the message to be legibly read for users.


3004-328 Your password will expire: Tue Sep 25 10:11:05 WAUST 2001

Could you add a sleep 20 (ie 20 seconds) before your application call? This would give users 20 seconds to ignore the message!! HTH.
