dear all, since yesterday my catia 4.2.4 on my workstation will not start. There only comes a terminalwindow very short with a message i cannot read, because the window is closing very fast. I checked the Catia Lizences and the LUM this is ok, and i checked with df -k the space this is ok too.

1) do you know what else i could be, that my catia will not start
2) can anybody tell me, how to start Catia with starting messages which will stay into a terminalwindow for finding out what happend ?

open a terminal and enter

catini -XM 1>1 2>2

when the prompt returns do a
pg 1 2

or

vi 1 2

or

vi 1
and
vi 2

and read there the error

hy again, thanks for the reply, but this works not, now i know that the problem is a user problem, when i log in with another user everything works fine....

No terminal, No error (you said " window is closing very fast&quot ?
