Dealing with hidden fields in a report.

Hello -

I have hidden fields in a report based on certain criteria. I would like to manipulate my report so that if there is data in the field next to the hidden one it will move over. I was wondering if there was any way to set up the report to have fields move over so there are no blank spaces on my report. Any help that you can give me would be greatly apreciated.

Welll...

You could use the left property. And set it according to the value in the hidden field.

A better way would be to concoctenate the two fields and use the trim function. Look at how the label wizard makes a lable & you'll get the general idea. Tyrone Lumley
