Dead TTY. 11C 4.5

Hi all,

I have replaced the octopus cable and even INI'd the switch but the 3 TTY's still are completely dead.
I can Rlogin and have rebuilt the TTY's with no luck.

The terminal settings are fine too as the same setup worked on this switch a week ago.

Is there anything else I can try before replacing the SSC card?

I'd back out/reseat the SSC or maybe just power cycle before ordering any replacement parts.

Yep, I might try the re-seat/power cycle combo.

Yep, using null modem adaptor for connection to the PC.

OK port 0 baud rate controlled by dipswitches on the SSC card.

Usually when this happens, the only fix is to replace the SSC card. You can swap over the flash etc and retain your configs.

If you restart the system with your pc connected to the meridian do you get the boot infomation?

You want to be on TTY 0 for all the boot info
