Hiiiiiiii……

We are using powerpath in one of prod aix box using EMC DMX1000
Recently I got errors and some virtual paths are dead
So in order to remove those dead paths I heard just one command ? powermt check ( say yes for all options)
So if I run that command is there any prob for existing paths or its safe to do that

Suggest me pls,

here is the output :

county1/root: / > powermt display dev=all

Pseudo name=hdiskpower34
Symmetrix ID=XXXXXX1359
Logical device ID=0750

If you had errors, and the issue has been fixed, paths should automatically restore to active when fixed. So there is still sth wrong wth your storage...
if you have frontend switches, I would check the switches if I were you.It looks like 1 switch is down.
Or could also be one of the controllers of your emc.One of them is dead :)
