Hello all,
I've got a customer that I've sold a CICS to, software version 4.2. It would seem that ports 106-117 are not functioning. Sets have been plugged into these ports and initialize fine (i.e.set shows time and switch sees set in maint.) but the phones have no function. Anyone ever seen this before.
P.S. This is a new install and I thoroughly tested this switch before I shipped it and it worked fine. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

This may sound crazy, but could have bad amphenol or punch down.

Do you have any alarm codes, Did you install this at the new location. If not maybe they have something in the wrong place.I would look at it in maintance under port stat... dis able and enable.

take one of the sets thats not working and punch it down in the phone room to eliminate house cable. If it dosnt work replace the amphenol. If that dosnt work its in the system!

Thanks for all the responses folks. Turns out the customer as usual didn't give me all the info. I spoke with him again and as it turns out the problem was moving to all the extensions intermittantly. I'd seen this problem before so I asked if maybe there was some kind of power transformer in the immediate area, and sure enough, on the other side of the wall there's a huge one. I told him to move where the KSU and termination block were located and everything seems to be operating the way it should. Again, thanks everyone for your advice.
