Dead Netscreen 5?

I have a Netscreen 5 in front of me that exibits the following conditions.

1. No Power LED. When plugged in the Power LED never lights, however I get two amber lights on the network ports and after a time the status light will turn green (but not flash).
2. No console output. I dont get any output or input from the serial port.

It seems to me that its dead, however I would love a second opinion on the matter as well as some sugjestions for things I can try.

If you still have a contract with NS then they will ship you a new one. I had a few XPs exhibit that behavior and had them replaced. but if you don't have an active contract then you can always use them as paper weights. I have a lot out of warranty that do that same as you describe and I am in the process of making a large piramid.
