I've been running my LDK 24 for the last couple of years, with 4 analogue line coming in.

This week network power tom down the electric and when it came back the Ldk 24 was dead. I was surprise as it was plugged I to a UPS.

Tried to work out what was wrong, but as there seemed no power on the main board, decided that it was the power supply, but as I couldn't find one I bought a new Nexer.

Nexer arrived with just 2 cards, the MPB and BFB. Switched on the new machine and it was also dead. Transferred card from old to machine and still dead.

I would of thought that at lest the lights would show on the new MPB even in its basic configuration. Is that wrong?

Could I have 2 dead units?

Any suggestio or help as we've got no phones!

Many thanks .Jez.

the nexer is a very very old system .

your find that they basically have a battery on the board to keep its settings incase of a power cut after a few years these dye and need to be replaced .

if it was me i would be ripping it out and just fitting a newer emg80a system .

it went

nexer
IPLDK
then emg80 .

so your a few systems behind .

you have analogue lines so just terminate sockets on to the end and stick a cordless standard bt house phone on the end for the time being.
