I just replaced a dead BCM 200 @ 3.5 and I am trying to trouble shoot the beast.

Seeming cause, several power outages, possible spikes.

Symptoms, no boot, no lights, no fan, no nothing.

Tried a known good power supply on the motherboard with no connections to the HD. No results.
Removed all components and retried. No results.

This is no longer a production model but if I can raise the dead I can keep the MSC card and just pay Nortel for the existing keycodes and have a functional system.

Answered my own question. Two parts.
One, my fault, the base function tray was not seated properly.
Second the MSC card had lost it't ID. I could get to the card via the serial port, but the MSC card had no ID and several of the menu functions were blank.
Dead MSC card, end of story.

Have you tried to reinitialize the System, I have had that happen and a reinitialzation always worked for me.
