Dead ACS R8.0 processor 1

A clinet of mine had a power surge. They had removed the surgerprotector/UPS that I told them they should always have. The surger fried the processor even though the green LED is still on. The ports are dead. Does the power supply on that 8 have a fuse? If so can it be replaced.

The power supply has several pico fuses soldered on the board. Not likely that this is the problem. It will probably need to be sent out for repair.

I have seen this on several 509 processors. Replacing the PS doesn't fix the problem. It is something on the main board that dies.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.

This usually requires replacing a corrupted eeprom on the processor board.
